NaNoWriMo has begun!

Yesterday was November 1st. To normal people that means three weeks until thanksgiving and fifty-five days until Christmas. To many authors it means the hardest writing challenge we could ever give ourselves.

NaNoWriMo is short for National Novel Write Month. We challenge ourselves to write fifty thousand words in thirty short days. It is do-able. I have done it before. In fact, Life on Loan was a Nano novel (that has since been edited and reworked to make sure it doesn’t read like it was written in a month) and I love it.

So how does one manage to complete such a task? Well…this lovely little blinkie I made on the 31st in preparation says everything.

But seriously, for me, it does require time management, patience, and LOTS of caffeine.

So, lovely readers, comment below with your own nano journey if you have one, or just to say hi and cheer me on!
