Remember me??

Yeah, I’m the author that has been in hiding for the last few months. I haven’t been reading or writing. I have been on a creative hiatus when it comes to the written word. I have been focused on finishing school (YAY FOR BEING A GRADUATE!) and working on getting my business up and running because lets face it, I have a while to wait before my love of writing makes any money and as an adult…money is kind of a necessity.

I was lucky enough to be able to go to Comic Con this past weekend. I met The Winner Twins on the convention floor and also attended their panel for aspiring authors. That really helped me get my “mojo” back. These girls are only seventeen and have two books published, two more that will be coming out within the next year, a non profit to help encourage young children, and have been awarded 8 different awards for their novels. To say that I was impressed is an understatement. I made sure to pay attention and take notes. Since that panel, my mind has been on over drive.

Life on loan is halfway through the editing and I have been actively working on a query letter and scouting out agents to send it to. However my creative brain needs a new world to create, to live in.  I still do not have a name for the first book or the series, but I have plans for a five book series. I am going to delve into the world of werewolves and love triangles.

I promise not to disappear for more than a week again. I will make sure to keep you updated on my progress on Life on Loan as well as the new series and as soon as I have a name, you all will be the first to know!
